When should I talk to a professional about my child?

They pronounce words with sounds I don't expect

They are hesitant to talk because of the way they sound

They seem behind their same-aged peers

They reached developmental milestones late

They do not babble, make noises, or engage much with other people

They understand a lot, but say very little

They get frustrated when they cannot communicate what they need

Other people have trouble understanding my child

"We are very pleased with Rebecca. She is working with our six year old daughter on a lateral lisp. Each week she brings a new, engaging and unique project to work on with our daughter. She is a pleasure to have in our house and we look forward to her weekly sessions. Bonus: her hours are great for working parents/kids that need to be seen after school. Thanks to Rebecca for the great care!"
